Interhealth Family Practice has been established since 2013 and is proud to be a part of the Broken Hill community.  

Interhealth aims to provide our patients with consistency of care,  and intergrated and holistic management.  We have a team of medical, allied health and administrative staff.  

 

Our allied health staff also regularly travel to the regional centers of Wilcannia, Cobar, Bourke, White Cliffs, Menindee, Ivanhoe and their surrounding communities.

We have been extremely proud to bring the first MRI service and 3D ultrasound services to Broken Hill.

Dr. John Wenham

John studied Medicine in the United Kingdom and has been a General Practitioner for 13 years. He was a partner in a practice in Manchester for seven years before moving to Broken Hill where he worked for the Royal Flying Doctor Service for four years. In July 2016 John began working at Interhealth Broken Hill where he consults 3 days a week – Monday and Friday mornings and Wednesday afternoons.

He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but, as well as his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he has a Diploma in each of women’s and children’s health.

Lucy Magann

Lucy studied Occupational Therapy at the University of Newcastle prior to graduating in 2015. She has worked within the residential aged care facility sector completing activities of daily living assessments, mobility and manual handling assessments and care plans, pressure care assessments, and assistance in the delivering of rehabilitation treatments to residents or ongoing treatment for chronic conditions. She has also had experience in provision of equipment and home modifications to maximize independence of clients. She is passionate about the delivery of services for rural and remote locations. Other areas of interest include paediatrics, Indigenous health and traumatic brain injury/spinal cord injury.

Dr Victoria Bradley

Dr Bradley studied Medicine at University College London in the UK, graduating in 1999. She initially followed a surgical career, switching to General Practice in 2007. She became a partner in a practice in Derbyshire for 4 years prior to moving out to Broken Hill to work for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in 2013. 
Dr Bradley's particular interests are Women's health and Orthopaedics. She has Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and Diplomas from the Faculty of family planning UK, and Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology UK

Laura Cubrika 

Laura Cubrika is a speech pathologist who graduated with honours from the University of Newcastle in June 2014 and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.  Laura relcoated with her family to Broken Hill in early 2017 from the NSW Central Coast where she worked as a paediatric speech pathologist.  She has experience working with clients across the lifespan in preschool/school, clinic and community settings.  

She is passionate about working together with communities, families, and other health professions to help individuals reach their full potential. \

Laura has experience providing services to children with speech, language, fluency, literacy, social skills and/or feeding difficulties.  She has an interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder and has worked with children with a range of developmental disabilities.  Laura also has experience working with adults who have communication and swallowing difficulties as a result of acquired brain injury, neurodegenerative conditions, and dementia.  

She has a special interest in multi-modal communication, group therapy models and partner training for adults with brain injury.  She is passionate about promoting social inclusion and life participation.  

 

 

Samantha Gogler

Sam has over 20 years experience working in private and public health settings. Her ultrasound qualifications include both a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound and a Masters in Medical Sonography. Samantha has extensive experience in many areas of ultrasound practice including musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetric, gynaecological, paediatric and general imaging. 
Many of you will know Sam from her work at the local hospital where she has been a sonographer for the past 15 years. During this time she has been instrumental in teaching and training sonographers and expanding clinical service provision in ultrasound.
Sam has a passion for patient care and providing a professional service to the community of Broken Hill and it's surrounding areas, a quality she shares with Interhealth's health professionals.

Chris Jones 

Chris studied Medical Imaging at Charles Sturt University graduating in 2003.  He has worked extensively  in both the private and public sectors and returned to Broken Hill in 2012. 

Chris has been instrumental in bringing the first MRI unit to Broken Hill.  

 

This has combined Chris' interest in sporting and traumatic musculoskeletal injury diagnosis with a commitment to provide the 'gold star' of diagnostic imaging to Broken Hill.
